The Arts & Crafts Movement at the turn of the nineteenth century was born from a search for simplicity and honesty in form and decoration. The industrial revolution had separated the craftsman from his art. A hundred years later, the complexity of our technological age urges us to return to that simplicity and honesty of handmade art.

We were inspired by the lyric Arts & Crafts vases, particularly those made in New England during the period 1890-1910. Backed by over 25 years of experience making pottery, we focus on capturing the essence of the Arts & Crafts Movement creating pieces that lovingly interpret the originals as well as those that reflect our personal styles and skills. All of our pottery is handthrown on the wheel from a stoneware clay and sculpted by the artist before being fired to cone 7 (2200 degrees F.) in an electric kiln. Each one carries the artist's mark and the date created.
